2024 Back to school outreach: Helping local teachers at Donavan

Bill and Marge Donovan were both life-long educators and founding members of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, where many members still hold fond memories of them. This back-to-school season, we’ve chosen some local teachers, and they’ve shared their Amazon wishlists with us. Let’s clear these lists! The items on these lists will help set their classrooms up for success. Use these links to shop their wishlists. Items purchased will be sent directly to the teachers.

Don’t want to shop through Amazon? You can bring any of the following items to church to be shared with the teachers:

  • Boxes of tissues

  • Clorox or Lysol wipes

  • Dry erase markers

  • Paper towels

  • Washable markers

Meet the teachers:

  • Jenna Jarvis

Jenna Jarvis has a special education classroom at Bowman Primary Scho.l Through items on this list, Jenna can create the space to serve students with disabilities who need to spend the majority of their school day in a space designed to support their specialized needs.

  • Michelle Horning

Michelle Horning works in a special education classroom at Bowman Primary School with students with moderate level needs. Their days are split 50/50. They receive most/all of their academic services within my classroom but go with their peers for social interactions and skills such as recess, lunch, specials, parties etc.

  • Madison Boone

Madison Boone is excited to begin her journey as a 4th-grade math and science teacher at Donovan Elementary. • Madison Murphy

Madison Murphy is excited to be joining Donovan as a 4th grade language arts/social studies teacher this year. Her family has lived in Lebanon for many years and she is proud to be a Lebanon Alumni.
