Family Promise/Interfaith Hospitality Update

I’d like to thank Cathy McCracken for helping me transition to the role of coordinator of Family Promise of Warren County (FPWC aka IHN). She’s has done a marvelous job for many years, and she was extremely helpful for my first rotation in October. According to the folks at FPWC, the October rotation was very successful. I truly appreciate everyone that helped with cooking meals, providing goodie bags, and buying breakfast and lunch staples. I am continually impressed with the generosity of our church.

The next rotation will be January 2nd through January 9th. Since it falls so close to the holidays, we’re asking everyone to donate goodie bag items now and non-perishable food staples in late December. We anticipate at least 3 families and, although we don’t know exactly how many children will need goodie bags, we normally need 3-5 items for each goodie bag for about 10 children of various ages each time. You can bring the donated items to the church or order them from our Amazon wish list.
